Overview:
Nanonets streamlines the process of exporting files or extracted data directly to an FTP server. Once a file is processed and data extracted, it is automatically exported to the FTP server, based on the configured export trigger in the export block. You can add multiple FTP server connections and switch between them based on the integration name specified during the configuration of each connection.
Steps to Set Up Export to FTP Server:
- Access Workflow:
- From the Nanonets Extract Data page, navigate to the 'Workflow' section via the left panel.
- Browse Export Options:
- Click on “Browse all export options” to see all supported export methods.
- Select "Export to server" from the list of options.
- Connect a Server:
- Input the Host, Port, Username, and Password to establish a connection.
- Name the integration and click on "Add Integration".
- Enable TLS (Optional):
- Optionally, you can enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) to ensure a secure data transfer.
- Select File Type:
- Choose from the following file types: CSV, CSV per File, XML, MS Excel, or Original File.
- For CSV, XML, and MS Excel, you can append data to an existing file.
- Select 'CSV per File' to create a new CSV for each exported file.
- The 'Original File' option allows for exporting and renaming the imported file as is.
- File Name Settings:
- Dynamically name your export files using data extracted during the process.
- File Content Settings:
- Customize your export by selectively including or excluding fields in the exported data.
- Export Trigger:
- Configure one or more export triggers according to your use case. Use the toggle to switch triggers on or off.
- Nanonets supports the following export triggers:
- On Inference: Automatically exports data as soon as the file is processed.
- On All Validations Passing: Exports data only after all approval/validation stages have been passed.
- On Approval: Exports data only if the file has been manually approved.
- On Assignment: Exports data only if the file is assigned or un-assigned.
- Save and Test Configuration:
- Once the connection is established and the export settings are configured, test the file exporting under the “Test this Action” section.
- Click "Save" to finalize the setup and apply the configurations.
You can download the exported data or file by using the 'Download Now' button. Use the 'Add Conditions to Run' button to configure conditional exports.
How to add conditional export?
- Configure Conditions:
- Click the "Add Conditions to Run" button to start configuring your conditional export.
- Add one or multiple conditions based on the extracted data fields. You can combine these conditions using 'AND' and 'OR' operators.
- Verify Export Setup:
- Ensure your export settings are correctly configured before implementing the conditional export logic.
By following these steps within the Nanonets interface, you can effectively set up the Export to FTP Server.
